Yoga & Life Coaching Workshops in Spain

Why I love being part of the YOGA community and being a Life Coach in Dénia, Valencia and Alicante?

​

Let's start from the beginning! I have been a certified Yoga Hatha and Ashtanga, teacher, by the Spirit Sadhana school in Barcelona for 2 years now. I guide the classes in English, French and Spanish.

​

I just finished my Life Coach certification with Mindvalley and I use Yoga as one of my favourite tools. Why? 

​

First, Yoga means to stop the fluctuation of the mind! We cannot change within, without learning how to shush the mind chatter aka the ego. 

 

Second, while doing Yoga (no matter if restorative or empowering), we bring the Mind, Body and Soul together. (All yogi can feel it, even beginners! Septic just try one session in consciousness! I insist on the word consciousness cause doing positions for the sake of just doing them, without any consciousness, will just make you have done a good stretch or workout!) By bringing the Mind-Body-Soul together again, we become one! One with ourselves, therefore one with Source! 

Yoga is the purpose of oneness.

 

Third, here is my best tips: if you can practice yoga with zero attachment to any results whatsoever, you are on the right path. 

​

The good news is, while able to practice yoga with no attachment to any results, we finally can live our life not being attached to any results and this my friends IS the beginning of manifesting our DREAMS! 

 

Also, It creates the habit of always returning within. And since we all have all the answers within us, it should be mandatory to learn how to reach this divine space.

 

I love living by the sea. My soul was searching for this freedom for a while. That's why I moved from London to Hastings, to live by the sea, when I lived in England.

 

I love how the Spanish live. I love their natural inner joy. And since I speak Spanish, it was obvious to move here. I am in perpetual search for how to grow healthier. Moving to live by the sea in a warm country has been the next normal step to take for me.

 

When I started giving YOGA sessions, at first they were outdoor sessions in a beautiful park not far from the sea.

​

Little by little word of mouth spread and I began to teach YOGA sessions and coaching workshops in 2 wellness centres, here in Valencia.

 

As for the workshops, I have been including general life coaching on well-being and personal growth. We always finish the workshop with a short restorative yoga session. I was impressed to see so many people at 6 in the morning on a Saturday hahahahaha.
 

As it is a group workshop, life coaching is more of a general empowerment session. It's about learning to breathe and take back ownership of our lives. We learn to live consciously, to listen to our instincts, to go within (which is key to success and happiness) and to attract more abundance. We also learn the importance of loving ourselves and having a high self-esteem. We also learn to set clear boundaries and honour our precious time. People tend to value money over time, I personally love and need BOTH equally. And also, we learn to always be in the present, since the past and the future are an illusion. I could go on and on and on, but you get the idea ;)

 

Regarding the one-on-one life coaching sessions, I help create a daily routine, I show the way to go within and meet your soul, I help change limited beliefs that no longer serves you or never even belongs to you and when this is digested we work to attract positive abundance to us. 

​

In addition to this we will work your personal queries. What would you like to change in your life right now? Do you feel secure from within or are you still in search of safety in the outside world? (In money for instance, or in a boy(girl)friend!)

 

My YOGA sessions are a little different since they have themes. “How to calm anger in an instant” or “how to recover our inner power?”, for example. I really try to provide MINDFUL YOGA. For me yoga is not just an exercise, it is more of a spiritual lifestyle.

​

I always create a sun shape with the mats, where no one sees anyone else, and I invite my group to camp with their eyes closed for the entire yoga class if possible. This forces us to go inward and listen to our own body instead of just doing a position for the sake of it! It also allows us NOT to compare ourselves to others. Yoga philosophy is all about the journey WITHOUT any attachment to any outcome. In the end I am only there to guide and invite you, but each individual is in charge of their sensations and it is their journey. That way we learn to be independent as Yogis and although I also love to be guided, I will always listen to my body first. Because our body knows better.

The power of YOGA is that what we learn and how we apply it on the mat will become a habit OFF the yoga mat, and this is priceless.

 

I also have online clients, because even though we live in the same town it is a matter of schedule. Many moms have only 1:30 hours to get the kids to nap and opening the zoom is faster than going to a yoga class. They usually mix transformative coaching and yoga depending on the mood. As I create the yoga class on the day, because it is always better to follow what the body craves, it is easy for us to decide on the spot.

 

And finally I go to some clients' houses. They want to stay home but need someone to motivate them. It's good because we start with a little 10 minute tea chat and hop on the mat. Or we keep the tea and grow with a life coaching session.

 

I love doing all this because I believe that by changing ourselves we co-create a better world and, since I am a Sagittarius moon and sun, you will not find more optimistic.
